Purpose
The Colorado Integrated Criminal Justice Information System Executive Board is an oversight body to the CICJIS program, created to implement, maintain, support and enhance it to facilitate the exchange of justice information. The Executive Board consists of the Executive Directors of state criminal justice agencies, including the Department of Public Safety, the Department of Corrections, the Department of Human Services, the Colorado District Attorneys' Council and the State Court Administrator. It may include entities as the general assembly or the Board deems appropriate. Through the Executive Board, CICJIS will plan, develop, implement and maintain effective methods of sharing justice information.
Mission
The mission of the Executive Board is to improve the administration of justice and enhance public protection by promoting practices and technologies for the secure and efficient sharing of justice information.
Meetings
Prior to the pandemic, the CICJIS Executive Board met quarterly on the third Tuesday of the month, 2:30 pm - 3:30 pm. Meetings were held in the Columbine conference room of the Ralph L. Carr Justice Complex.
During and post-pandemic, the Board will meet virtually. The next scheduled meeting is February 15, 2022 from 3pm to 4pm.
